Women's Bible Studies (Morning) Fall 2021

Esther: The Hidden Hand of God Study

Morning Class meets from 9–11am Evening Class meets from 7–9pm

Cost is $16

The book of Esther reads like a fairy tale: a young Jewish queen, her wise older cousin, an evil royal servant, and a self-centered king. But make no mistake, Esther is no fairy tale. From the beginning of the book to the end, God is the story’s main character, even though he’s never mentioned. Come dig deeper with us, as we see how the story ultimately points to the gospel, revealing the need for a better deliverer, a better king, and a better kingdom than any found in this world. This study will be offered in person beginning 9/7 and ending on 11/16 at the Brentwood campus.

This fall, we will be offering two homework tracks for this study. Track one will be using a study guide by Lydia Brownback, and Track two will be using the Precepts Upon Precepts study guide. Regardless of the track you choose, everyone will attend the large group teaching together and break into small groups based on your homework track. The cost of this study is $16. If you have any questions about the different tracks and how they work, please email Somer Ransom at somerransom@goldenhills.org.
