Spring 2022: WBS: Book of Luke – PM Study
February 22, 2022 7:00 - 9:00pm | W129/130
The angel said to the shepherds, “I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people” (Luke 2:10). Born in a lowly manger, Jesus might not have been the messiah people expected, but he was the Messiah they needed, who we still need today.Join us this spring starting Tuesday, February 22nd, as we spend 11 weeks digging deeper into the book of Luke using Lydia Brownbacks’ study guide Luke: Good News of Great Joy. We will be answering the questions: Who is this son of a carpenter who could preach, heal diseases, and cast out demons? Who is this Jesus, the friend of sinners? Pointing to Jesus as the promised King of kings, we will see how his earthly ministry is good news for all, especially the downtrodden, the hurting, and the outsider.
This study will be offered in-person on Tuesday mornings from 9-11 am, Tuesday evenings from 7-9 pm, and digitally through the Independent Study. The cost of this study is $16, which includes your study guide and an ESV journal.
