Student Ministries Rafting Trip 2025

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our first-ever Student Ministries whitewater rafting trip! Experience the thrill of navigating exciting rapids and strengthening or creating new friendships while surrounded by God’s beautiful creation.

Cost: $152 per person
When: Saturday, July 19, 2025
Location: AO River Center – 1026 Lotus Rd, Lotus, CA 95651

Check-in at the church: 8:00am
Arrival Time at location: 11:15am
Return to Church Time: Around 7:00pm

What to bring:

• Footwear: Laced-on athletic shoes offer the best foot protection and support. Athletic-style sandals like Tevas and Chacos are acceptable but not ideal. Slip-on “aqua-sock” type footwear is not appropriate for rafting. If your feet tend to get cold easily, wearing thick wool or neoprene socks will provide foot warmth and comfort.
• Water Bottle: Each guest needs to bring their own. It’s important to stay hydrated while rafting. There will be opportunities to refill your bottle at the meeting place and during the trip.
• Swimsuit
• Quick drying shorts to wear over swimsuit are recommended for more comfort
• Thin long-sleeve shirt and pants made out of athletic materials for additional sun protection and/or extra layering
• Personal Medicine
• Change of clothing for ride home
• Waterproof sunblock, sunglasses with strap, hat, visor (optional)
