Thriving Widows: The Life Lessons Series

Thriving Widows (formerly Surviving Wives Connection) is hosting a morning of exploring our 2025 class, Life Lessons Series.

This month we will be continuing our new series, based on Max Lucado’s book, Help Is Here. The title of this lesson is “It’s all in Your Mind”. Focusing on the Scripture in Philippians 4:8-13, we will ponder the promises of God; His faithfulness and the unfolding of His plan through imperfect people, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

As we walk through our individual journeys of grief, we come together to encourage, enlighten and connect with each other, forming bonds of friendship and caring, strengthening each other as we rebuild our lives and find our new identity. All widows are welcome to join in our activities.
