Jesus, the Living Cornerstone
Musical Composition
For my piece I decided to create an instrumental music piece on 1 Peter 2. In my music I created parts to show how God works in His plans and in the hearts of people. In chapter 2 for example, it includes “so the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, “the stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone” in this section of the Bible I like to create music based off how God feels towards the people and how the people are feeling towards God. When creating music it’s important to include how each person is feeling. And what is happening in the story so that you can create based off the storyline. This piece is called Jesus the living cornerstone.

Lament of God’s People
Music
For my piece I was focused on the feelings and actions of the people and of God. Most of the time in my piece it is more sad sounding with minor chords because of how the people were going through famines and hardships. So for these emotions I created more sad sounding music to describe how they might’ve felt. When it would get to how God works and how He is perfect I would change to major chords to describe how good He is and His glory that is shown to the Jewish people.
