Lament of God’s People
Music
For my piece I was focused on the feelings and actions of the people and of God. Most of the time in my piece it is more sad sounding with minor chords because of how the people were going through famines and hardships. So for these emotions I created more sad sounding music to describe how they might’ve felt. When it would get to how God works and how He is perfect I would change to major chords to describe how good He is and His glory that is shown to the Jewish people.
Artist Bio
Ashley Kenney has been playing piano for 13 years and also teaches. She is currently studying music composition at Academy of Art University and would love to one day write music for film scores.
