One of my film cameras is broken causing a light ring effect, so I thought it’d be fun to experiment and try and work that in to an image. Here’s one of the ones on the roll that actually turned out. The central theme is Nehemiah’s prayer from Neh 1. The imagery is stollen from the Valley of Vision opening poem which has a similar structure to Nehemiah’s prayer, particularly in his confession of sin.
