Nehemiah’s Eyes

This painting is an inspiration of how God appointed Nehemiah to take on the rebuilding of Jerusalem. The book of Nehemiah in the Old Testament foreshadows the coming of the Christ as both accepted God’s commands. Nehemiah rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem, and Jesus delivered the covenant, the Good News and the opportunity for salvation.
Artist Bio
Michelle Norman lives in Antioch and is a member of GHCC. Painting animals has given her the most joy. Michelle describes this watercolor/gauche painting, Nehemiah’s Eyes, as a collaboration with God. She is humbled and gives God all the glory for the composition and results.
