Kids Ministry

We are committed to delivering the gospel to kids at our church, discipling them to treasure Jesus Christ above all else, and teaching them to do the same for others. Our primary methods to accomplish our goal are Sunday School classes during church on Sunday mornings, Wednesday night Awana groups, an annual summer event called Vacation Bible School (VBS for short), and spending our lives together as the church.

Sunday School

Sunday School is a place for kids to experience age-appropriate biblical teaching and engaging activities. We offer Sunday School for infants through two-year-olds in the W building and three-year-old to 5th grade in the E building at the 10:30 am service on Sunday morning! Each classroom is staffed by two interviewed and background-checked adults. If you are visiting for the first time, please arrive 15 minutes before classes start so we can register for your family for our secure pick-up system.
Sunday School will be offered at the 8:30 am service soon!

Awana is taken from 2 Tim 2:15 and stands for “Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed.” It is a Christ-centered program designed to help parents in the spiritual development of their children. Awana combines fun and exciting weekly meetings with solid biblical instruction with a particular focus on studying and memorizing God’s word. The Gospel is presented throughout the teaching and curriculum. We offer Awana to 3-year-olds through 5th graders and meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm throughout the school year.

Registration is required to participate and will reopen July-August 2022.

Vacation Bible School (VBS for short) is an annual week-long event held each summer for kids in our community to learn about the gospel through creative mediums. These include live skits, singing songs, making crafts, eating snacks, and enjoying recreation with friends. Registration is required and will be posted on this page once available.

VBS 2022 will be from June 27th to July 1st

Child dedication is an act of faith by which a parent or parents offer their children up to God for His purposes and declare their intention to raise their child or children for His glory and their joy.
