The Golden Calf and New Tablets

Week 13 of our series, “Exodus: A People Redeemed For God’s Glory”

Sinful humanity is not able to be faithful to God’s covenant which elicits God’s wrath and judgment. A mediator is needed to intercede for us to propitiate God’s wrath, atone for our sins, and restore us to right standing with God. Jesus Christ is the only one who can accomplish this, and he did so through his life, death, and resurrection. As we repent and turn toward Christ in faith, we are able to come into a relationship with God and worship and serve him.
