An Evening of Lament

We invite you to join us for An Evening of Lament. When we lament, we bring our cries to God in difficult circumstances.

This evening will be a time to embrace one another and approach God as one collective body, as a response to the recently announced church discipline situation. We will listen to the reading of scriptural laments, sing worship songs, gather with others who may be feeling similar pain, and approach God in prayer for healing our hearts. In order to strengthen our church community, we can normalize the demonstration of our grief and be transparent with one another and before God.
