HSM Hermeneutics

This class for High School students is an introduction to the science and art of hermeneutics. This class will teach students the principles and laws of interpretation of the Bible using the grammatical-historical method. Students will understand the importance of historical and cultural contexts and genres. Students will have reading and interpreting exercises and will understand different genres of the Bible, including parables, typology, poetry, prophecy, epistles, historical narratives, law, etc.
This class is for Grades 9–12 and meets on Sundays
