Simply Women

Words matter. Almost everyone would agree that what we say and how we say it reflects our beliefs, influences others, impacts our relationships, and affects our perceptions. The desire to say the right things, or fear of saying the wrong things, can be anxiety-ridden and paralyzing. Yet as Christians, we know that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34).

As devotees who have put our faith in Jesus, we have been given new hearts that enable us to obey God, including his commands for us to speak with wisdom, in truth and love. In the first of a 3-part series on Gospel-Wise Words, we will explore what it means that Jesus is God’s final word to us (Hebrews 1:1-3), and how that shapes how we speak upward to God.

Simply Women is a ministry for women in the church. At Simply Women, we meet on a Friday evening in a relaxed setting to learn from God’s word, build relationships, and get equipped to be ministers of reconciliation. It is a gospel-driven, word-saturated, hospitality-minded, and community-oriented event.
