October 2024 Prayer Calendar
October 6th
Praise God for Pastor Jeff Harrington and his wife Lisa, who are planting a church
called The Lion’s Den in Kauai, Hawaii. Pray for them as they balance their
busy schedule and for their small core group to persevere, be courageous in their
witness, bold in asking people to come, and for people to respond to the faithful
work of the Holy Spirit drawing them to Himself.
October 13th
Praise God for Pastor Perry Morris, who serves at Hilltop Christian Fellowship
in Paso Robles. Pray for their upcoming Music Night at HCF (10/19), filled with
worship and singing. Pray that God will continue to use them as they meet at
Heritage Ranch and reach out to their community, serve the homeless, and share
with those who need Jesus.
October 20th
Praise God for Pastor Santiago Robles, who ministers at Iglesia Nueva
Comienzo in Antioch. Pray for their church as they share the Gospel to their
Spanish-speaking community. Pray that God will continue to provide for them and
encourage them.
October 27th
Praise God for Pastor Juan Valencia and his wife Rachel, who serve at Living
Community Church in East Palo Alto. Please pray for their church plant as they
meet in homes and then gather together as one every 4 weeks. Pray for
attendees to become disciples. Pray for their men’s group, targeting the
unchurched, that they can have real and authentic conversations and that Jesus
will be made known. Pray for Pastor Juan to be bold and faithful and be able to
balance time as he works toward a Doctor of Ministry degree.
November 3rd
Praise God for Pastor Dave Clark and his wife Josie, who serve at Living Hope
Neighborhood Church in Richmond. Praise God for sustaining them as Josie
has had a battle with cancer. Pray she continues to improve and that God will
continue to use them for His glory. Pray for their church as they faithfully reach
out to their community with food distribution and a Daily Bread Café ministry.
