January 2025 Prayer Calendar
January 5th 2025!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Pray for ALL of our CPW churches as we begin this new
year filled with opportunities to share the Gospel and spread God’s love to our
world. Pray for our CPW staff - Bernard and Kimberly, Paula, Chris, Alma, Larry,
and Karla - as they seek to encourage and be used by God to serve our 90
churches of Converge PacWest.
January 12th
Praise God for Pastor Mike Garman and his wife Sandy, who minister at First
Baptist Church in Paso Robles. Praise God for their 30 years of faithful service
at First Baptist! They were blessed to travel overseas to visit their family. Praise
God for an amazing community service uniting 1,000 people to celebrate our
Savior’s birth. Pray for wisdom and clarity for their leaders as they seek God’s will
for what God has ahead for them and that their church will continue to be used of
God to reach lives for His glory.
January 19th
Praise God for Pastor Kyle Brooks and his wife Stephanie, and Pastor Bernard
Emerson and his wife Kimberly, who serve at Tapestry Church in Oakland.
Praise God for this special group of people of many cultures woven together for
His glory. They are in process of pursuing a building in Sobrante Park that could
become a home for their church community. This is a significant opportunity for
their church. Pray that God would touch the hearts of the district leaders to accept
Tapestry’s offer and that God would guide and provide for them for His glory.
January 26th
Praise God for Pastor Cesar Verdeflor and his wife Myrian, who serve at
Embrace Community Church in Stockton. Pray that God would provide
guidance and opportunities to be used in their community this coming year. Ask
God to continue to enable them to “Go, Evangelize, and Teach” God’s truth and to
see God’s hand of blessing upon them.
February 2nd
Praise God for Pastor José Magaña and his wife Martha, who minister at Iglesia
Bautista Calvario in Turlock. Praise God for the continued healing in their lives.
God is doing great things!! They are in the process of opening their THIRD
Spanish service. Continue to pray for that and for their Maná ministry, which
serves over 3700 people with groceries per week. The Lord is so good.
