Generosity and the Fear of God

Week 18 of our series, “Revitalize: A People Restored & Rebuilding”. Nehemiah 5:1-19

Many of the Jews were taking advantage of one another by exacting interest on loans and lands, which caused deep poverty amongst the people. Nehemiah puts an end to the practice and demands instead that the people walk in the fear of the Lord by obeying the Law and being generous rather than greedy for gain.
