The Compassion of Yahweh

Week 3 of our series, “Exodus: A People Redeemed For God’s Glory”

When we experience oppression, suffering, and pain, it’s common for us to wonder where is God amidst all this hurt. We can often ask ourselves if He cares and if He will do anything. Yahweh not only reveals Himself to Moses, but He also reveals who He is to Moses. He is Yahweh, “I AM” or “I will be”. And He’s a compassionate God who will deliver His people because He will not forsake His covenant. And He’s a Sovereign God who works powerfully to accomplish His will.
