Grasping the Old Testament

March 16 10:30 am - 12:00 pm  |  W130

2401 Shady Willow Lane, Brentwood, CA, USA

While the Bible is one book, it’s actually made up of many smaller books. In Grasping the Old Testament, we spend time becoming familiar with the 39 books that make up this section of the Bible. This includes understanding the layout, the various authors, the differences in styles, the dates of composition, and the messages of these books. Our goal is to take something that may feel distant or complex and help you become comfortable with it. After all, the Old Testament lays the foundation for understanding God’s promises, the history of His people, and how they point toward Jesus in the New Testament.

Grasping the Old Testament runs for 7 weeks on Sundays, March 16–May 11
