Apply

The deadline to apply for scholarships is May 5th.

We understand that for many families, the expense of attending camp can be a source of concern, and we aim to ensure that every student has the chance to participate. However, due to rising expenses at Hume and transportation costs, the cost of camp has significantly increased, and we recognize that registration may pose a challenge for certain families.

Requirements
Our goal is to ensure that all of our students have the opportunity to attend camp, regardless of their financial situation. To maximize our ability to support as many students as possible, we will require that you also apply for Hume’s Camperships and participate in our fundraiser. We understand that special circumstances may arise, and exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.

We also ask scholarship students to come in to help with camp preparations and other Student Ministries projects. You will see an assigned number of “work hours” on approved scholarship applications.

Details
We understand how important it is for you to receive timely updates on your scholarship application. We will process each application as soon as it is received and notify you as soon as possible about its approval status. You will receive a coupon code to apply approved scholarships towards final payment.

Summer 2024 Theme

Jesus is the central figure of the Bible and of all history which necessitates a response from all of us. This summer, we will be looking at the person of Jesus through the book of Matthew. As Jesus reveals who He is, He asks His disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” In the same way, all of humanity must answer the question, “Do you believe that Jesus is who He says He is?”

Theme Verse

Matthew 16:13-16

Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
