And so the Jews built the wall and it deeply enraged their enemies, so much so that they made plans to not only stop the construction of it but to kill them as well. So the Jews stationed some with swords, spears and bows along the wall. They stayed there day and night, sometimes working, sometimes simply standing guard. And Nehemiah reassured them to not be afraid and to remember their great and awesome God, who would fight for their families and for their homes.
Artist Bio
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be an author and illustrator of my own children’s books. I am slowly working on making that a reality, and in the meantime, I enjoy creating whimsical art that brings a smile to other’s faces.
