We are committed to delivering the gospel to kids at our church, discipling them to treasure Jesus Christ above all else, and teaching them to do the same for others. Our primary methods to accomplish our goal are Sunday School classes during church on Sunday mornings, Wednesday night Awana groups, an annual summer event called Vacation Bible School (VBS for short), and spending our lives together as the church.

Sunday School

Sunday School is a place for kids to experience age-appropriate biblical teaching and engaging activities. We offer Sunday School at 8:30am for ages Walkers through 5th Grade in the W building. For our 10:30am service, we have classes for infants through two-year-olds in the W building and three-year-old to 5th grade in the E building. Each classroom is staffed by two interviewed and background-checked adults. If you are visiting for the first time, please arrive 15 minutes before classes start so we can register your family for our secure pick-up system.

Awana

Awana is taken from 2 Tim 2:15 and stands for “Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed.” It is a Christ-centered program designed to help parents in the spiritual development of their children. Awana combines fun and exciting weekly meetings with solid biblical instruction with a particular focus on studying and memorizing God’s word. The Gospel is presented throughout the teaching and curriculum. We offer Awana to 3-year-olds through 5th graders and meet on Wednesday nights throughout the school year.

Cubbies (3–5 years) meets from 6:30–8:00pm
Sparks (K–2nd Grade) meets from 6:30–8:15pm
T&T (3rd–5th Grade) meets from 6:30–8:20pm

Registration is required to participate. Registration for the 2024-2025 club year will begin August 4th.

Special Needs

We have a ministry for elementary-aged children to have a buddy accompany them in their Sunday school class. Participation in this ministry requires a registration process. To learn more, visit our page.

VBS
VBS

Vacation Bible School (VBS for short) is an annual week-long event held each summer for kids in our community to learn about the gospel through creative mediums. These include live skits, singing songs, making crafts, eating snacks, and enjoying recreation with friends.

VBS was June 24–28, 2024. This year’s theme was Breaker Rock Beach.
